Teen Coaching vs. Adult Coaching: Is There a Difference?
A Research Paper By Josh Bolland
Teen and Parent Coach, BRAZIL
I can state with confidence that the theories of adult coaching and child learning are convergent based on research and my more than 18 years of educational experience. Adults and teenagers alike are interested in the reason behind the lessons they are learning. Both individuals benefit from learning material that is relevant to their daily lives. What’s more, both need chances to experiment and make mistakes in order to learn. Additionally, we can be confident that teenagers can be coached just as effectively as adults because this type of learning is in line with the fundamentals of coaching. However, because they might not have the same vocabulary, life experiences, or brain development as adults, giving them some sort of scaffolding can make the process more fulfilling for both the coach and the student.
Reality vs. Illusion
A Coaching Power Tool By Christos Vasilopoulos
Business Coach, GREECE
The universal ideas and tried-and-true philosophical systems and methods serve as the foundation for the Reality vs. Illusion power tool’s structure. The purpose of the tool, which is based on this adage, is to increase awareness of the person, their thoughts, and how they see and feel about the topics they wish to investigate. It is not limited by a small number of questions and has many layers. Finding one’s personal purpose may result from it. Combining these three basic ideas gives us the idea of the “power tool,” which can dispel illusions, reveal reality, and reveal a wealth of information and options. Knowing what needs to be addressed can help someone take important actions that they can maintain and keep track of because they now understand where they came from.
Connections — How Do You Stay Connected?
A Research Paper By Tina Melson
Life Coach, INDONESIA
A large number of connections influence everyone’s daily life. However, some connections are more important than others, while others are disconnected. While writing my power tool, I came up with the idea of disconnection vs. connection, which I have since noticed not only in my coaching sessions, but also in my everyday life. More importantly, I saw it in my own life, where the ebb and flow of connection changed all the time. You connect on different levels and in different circumstances, whether with loved ones, friends, at work, or with your core principles or ideas.
The THRIVE Coaching Model
A Coaching Model By Doris Bisaro
Well-Being Coach, ITALY
Trust, Heal, Reconnect, Imagine, Value Vulnerability, & Evolve are the acronyms for the THRIVE Model. You will feel empowered to evolve once you can acknowledge your true desires, embed your new perspective on vulnerability, and feel confident in your true deeper strengths. Your power shines through because you are unafraid to be yourself, without guile or apology. You gain the courage and confidence to expose yourself to the scrutiny of others. As a coach, I will help you plan and stick to your plan, and as a client, you will commit, own, and carry out your plans by putting in place the necessary supporting structures. Be true to yourself as you evolve. Enjoy your journey and enrich it!
Understanding Interdependence in the Thinking Process
A Research Paper By Christos Vasilopoulos
Business Coach, GREECE
By understanding the interdependence of all things in the thought process, a coach can see and be aware of whether something is a “fact” or a “belief”; to recognize whether a feeling or a thought is self-existing or interdependent, its “birth canal” and structural elements. As a result of knowing the “truth” of things, ideas, and emotions, a person can make informed decisions and ask pertinent questions. This research paper aims to demonstrate that everything in and outside of our heads is interdependent, and that recognizing the dependent component leads to a dramatic improvement in the thought process for problems and decisions. It increases the awareness of the coach, which in turn increases the awareness of the client.
Hardwired for Purpose
A Research Paper By Marianna Rolikova
Transformational Coach, SLOVAKIA
Knowing our Hardwired for Purpose gives us meaning, something to strive for, and functions almost like an internal compass to guide us through life’s challenges. Finding and cultivating positive emotions and with them, our purpose in life, something we are hardwired for, depends on understanding what our current definition of purpose is (even if we are not sure about it), how that links to our needs, and how much they align with our current mental, physical, spiritual, and emotional growth. Finally, how does all of this align with our internal language – How do we articulate our growth and emotional states in different areas?
