A Research Paper By Fiona Shaw
Transformation Coach, UNITED KINGDOM
My cynical self would respond that coaching in change (Change Manager) is sometimes used to mean “let’s see if we can be nice to people so that we can get them to do what we want them to do faster.” I believe that the way we were trained to coach as a skill is not widely applied in the corporate sector. It is the ability to truly assist people in making their own decisions about how they want to live and build on their own knowledge and potential. If I’m being honest, we all know that coaching is the best approach to help people make individual transitions when it comes to change.
