The tool can be used in both professional and everyday settings. We frequently analyze the dangers associated in a project and feel dread, pessimism, and other negative emotions right away. Many of my coworkers, managers, and friends have difficulty understanding and embracing a difficult or stressful circumstance with a positive outlook and attitude, seeing it as an opportunity for learning and development. When I think about the difficulties they are currently facing, I see that overloading is the most common problem that clients ask. The pull from their home lives and the need to be present for their families and other personal obligations also contributes to leaders in the business world today feeling overwhelmed by their daily tasks, the endless number of meetings that they must attend back-to-back, the speed of change under which they must operate in their businesses, and the challenges.

Three key components make up the “Follow your ID” model: intuition (the I), determination (the D), and self-trust (the ID). I created this coaching model as a result of my experiences as a coach and in my personal life. The gut, the instinct I pay attention to in daily life and during my coaching experiences, is related to intuition. I have developed my intuition through many techniques, such as meditations, and it has assisted me in making difficult but necessary judgments. None of us are born with the capacity to be determined, but we can all work to develop it. In addition to providing the client with the motivation they need to take action, a determination is what can assist a coach continue on his coaching path.

This power tool “Anxiety vs. Equanimity” in adult life is something I’d now like to incorporate into my coaching sessions. I want to support my clients in transitioning their anxiety into a calmer, more awake state. It is undoubtedly a process that requires more time than just the session, but that’s also a part of it—planting seeds for development and transformation while the client charts their own road toward self-awareness, self-compassion, and progress. As a coach and a regular practitioner of meditation, I can attest to the value of helping myself and my clients transition from a state of mental turbulence to one of awareness or equanimity.

La Mindfulness era conosciuta nel mondo del Buddismo come Sati, considerato come uno dei concetti principali che conducevano al percorso di illuminazione e liberazione, secondo Buddha. Infatti, Sati, può essere tradotto in italiano come “piena coscienza”. Buddha ha insegnato due forme principali di meditazione, Samatha (basata sulla concentrazione unitiva) e Vipassanā (dedicata allo sviluppo della consapevolezza mentale), sulla base della quale in Occidente, in tempi recenti, si sono messi a punto dei programmi standardizzati di pratica meditativa, che hanno reso possibile la ricerca sperimentale e clinica. In italiano il termine Vipassanā può essere tradutto come “meditazione consapevole”.

In the end, this coaching model aims to support people in navigating change so that they can go in a new direction. When appropriate, blended coaching can be used to help clients achieve their coaching objectives while also addressing the emotional components of their journey.
