People are affected by perspectives. I created an Expectation vs. Opportunity power tool to support clients to shift from the view of expectation to opportunity. This tool does not suggest we erase all expectations we have. Instead, it is an invitation to increase awareness and utilize the time when our expectations are not satisfied. This not only gives us chances to turn a disappointing moment into a path to get closer to our goals but also forms chances to know ourselves more and to connect with others.

Client willingness is the foundation of coaching because every client has different needs. I meticulously customize my coaching sessions to each client’s specific needs. In my coaching sessions, I put a lot of effort into facilitating natural discourse without leading clients on a path they don’t necessarily want to go. Likewise, I believe it is my responsibility as a coach to help clients achieve their own goals, not assign them to me or set them. Members of a cross-cultural workplace provide a variety of viewpoints, attitudes, beliefs, information, skills, and historical perspectives to an organization. Innovation might benefit from this diversity. However, having a varied membership in a corporation does not automatically lead to innovation. Appreciating differences may present a chance for the business to use diversity to spur innovation. Appreciating differences encourages companies to innovate. Businesses can profit from the cross-cultural environment they foster when this perspective is combined with a varied workforce. And with the help of coaches, clients may further instill these values to combat diversity’s unintended costs and free their workforce’s potential for value-adding innovation.
