In all cultures, fire has been a representation of change and energy in the form of heat and light. The coaching process is an energetic, dynamic connection that transforms both the coach and the coachee in unique ways. Similar to alchemy, when metamorphosis begins as a flash from the inside out, becomes flame, and finally becomes fire, beautiful things appear. According to the “FLAME” Model, the journey is full of curiosity, energy, action, and accountability, and it ends with empowerment. This idea also refers to the abilities, steps, and results at every level that keeps the coachee’s goals at the forefront of the direction to be taken.
