The C-suite and executives must reassess and embed the importance of growth + development and its impact on employee engagement for today’s fleeting workforce. Capital expenditures should follow these guidelines. It has been a long time since any investments have been made in the expansion and improvement of human capital. Plans for mentorships, off-site training, online courses, and better or more advanced training are made every year with the best of intentions. However, these are the first programs to be eliminated, delayed, or postponed due to a lack of money. Additionally, deviating from the organization’s obligations and priorities delays these critical growth endeavors.
