The Career Offsite Model begins by using only coaching techniques to set up a secure setting in which clients can discuss themselves and their professional struggles. a “career offsite,” which is a personal offsite modified for professional use. These offsites, in my opinion, can either take place independently (outside of a session) or be facilitated by a coach, depending entirely on the client’s preferences and preferred working methods. The frequency, duration, number of goals, and time period for those goals can also, in my experience, be changed. I’ve broadened the definition to emphasize the goals of my coaching model and center it on self-discovery. Setting goals is a secondary outcome that can happen off the field. This idea is due to the fact that setting goals are an integral part of the coaching relationship.
