How did you find Coaching?
I am a certified professional Coach and I work with Entrepreneurs and Leaders to help them Uncover and Celebrate their professional Brilliance. I was previously a Human Resources manager. When I was 17 and looking at college option I remember very clearly telling my mom “I want to help people be happy at work”. I truly value work and it makes me sad to see so many people frustrated with their work and dreaming about their week-end on Mondays! That’s how I ended becoming a Human Resources manager because at that time it seemed to be the closest I could get to impact people in their work. I worked for several multinational firms but very soon started to get frustrated because I had very little “Power” (the good power) to impact the lives of the employees. I was doing too much paperwork.
I am also an Ambitious Mom. I moved to the US in 2000, left my Corporate career and became a stay at home mom ( it took me a while to get a work permit). It’s been such a blessing and after a year my ambition and creativity started to kick in. I am committed to raise my kids and spend lots of time with them everyday but I also need to work. I need to use my professional talents to serve and contribute to Society. This is how I found out about coaching and immediately fell in love with it. I am now working from home, raising my 3 daugthers and helping Entrepreneurs and Leaders Uncover and Celebrate their professional Brilliance.
How are you using coaching to make a difference?
I help Entrepreneurs tackle their big ideas and get things done. I support them in creating step by step manageable plan of action ( I call them Game plan) and build a career that is in line with WHO they are and what they want in life. I am very satisfied to say that I am finally helping people be happy with their work.
What was the most valuable thing you learned at ICA?
I choose ICA because It gave me the much needed flexibility that I needed ( I was a mom of 2 very young kids and pregnant with my 3rd and planning to breastfeed) combined with a truly exceptional training and truly diverse community. I loved that they don’t teach us a specific Coaching model but help you create your own. I loved that I was in class with people from Australia, China, Israel… I loved the coaching presence and the wisdom of our teacher. During every class I got to Experience for myself WHAT IS COACHING. Teachers are true Role Models and that’s the best way to learn.
