Conclusion
Coaching provides connection and enhances and increases the rate at which people move toward their goals, which leads to happier, more fulfilled and more harmonious lives. With a well-qualified life coach, a client can grow his or her intrapersonal peace, then, and cultivate more presence, resilience, and wholeheartedness, and live in a way that is kinder, more harmonious, more cooperative, and thus, more peaceful. Coaching addresses not only living a life in which violence is absent, but also living a life of positive peace, which in turn affects our interactions with others. Allende (2010) explains,
The more I think about peace, I think peace starts and ends in connection. When we connect, we learn about ‘the other.’ It is not tolerance but understanding, acceptance. In the connection, everything starts to happen.
Coaching, therefore, has the potential to play an integral role in creating a more peaceful and loving world.
