Results / Feedback
With the one to one Mentoring over the 3 month period, 56% of the mentees actually met with their Mentors. And with the group mentoring, 33% of the mentees met with their group mentors. Main reason for not meeting with mentors was Time constraints. Most of the employees work on rotating shifts and this often resulted in mentees and mentors being on different shifts. Also, demanding workloads meant that at times they were just too busy to meet.
With the Coaching, three of the coachees met weekly with their coach. The fourth coachee was out of office on jury service. Over the 3 month period two of the coachees resigned to pursue other job opportunities. And the other two were made redundant with the Organisation’s second restructuring.
On a whole most of the employees said the Coaching &Mentorship program was a good experience.
