Research Paper: Coach with the Tarot Cards in Mind
b. Summary of each card in one sentence:
The Fool:
I am a free electron; I am everywhere and nowhere, I use my freedom to be at others’ disposal. (The path is more important than the goal)
I.The Magician
I dare to embrace the adventure of life on earth, while staying faithful to myself, respectful and maintaining my analytical ability.(It would be worse not to do anything even if we make mistakes. We need to confront ourselves to reality. Opportunities don’t come to us; we need to take actions towards them)
II.The High Priestess
I am a clear presence and a space of silence, who knows what to say, when and to whom to say it.(We need to have the patience, to pursue what we started. Wisdom of time)
III.The Empress
I let my imagination open-up and my creativity express itself freely and warmly while paying close attention to others’ ideas.
IV.The Emperor
I deal and materialize my ideas, in a fair manner.
V.The Pope
I communicate and pass on what I am and what I know, in a simple manner with compassion.(The Pope and the High Priestess are a couple: They don’t look at each other but communicate between themselves with their hearts.)
VI.The Lover
I take the time to listen to my heart and follow in harmony the path it shows me.(The choice can be quick. There is like a re-assessment)
VII.The Chariot
I believe in myself and move toward success with confidence and focus.
VIII.Justice
I evaluate the pro and the cons of each situation and make the choice to re-establish a fair balance.
VIIII.The Hermit
I am the guardian of my inner light; I guide those who recognize me with discretion and an open mind.
(We integrate what we learnt with the first 8 Arcana. This loneliness is not isolation. We are responsible. We need to fill in these empty moments and time will go by faster. Take the time for ourselves to decide what we want to keep or not.)
X.The Wheel of Fortune
I give a new momentum to my life and I dare to take things in hand to create revival. (It is a new cycle with more possibilities. We are responsible to turn the handle and take initiatives. No one turns the handle in this card we have to do it)
XI.Strength
My strength is my softness, flexibility, autonomy and inner strength.(When we dare to move on in our life in a responsible and wise way, it reveals to ourselves our inner structure and strength beyond everything. Indeed there is no landscape on this card. With softness we keep the lion’s mouth opened)
XII.The Hanged Man
I surrender with complete confidence to life’s intelligence by my letting go and detachment. (We build an inner stable structure that requires us to let go while our past knowledge stay part of us)
XIII.The Nameless Arcanum
I know the rhythm of the seasons and the garden of my life has great seeds that give me enough courage to take the decision to make a change.
(When the letting go of the Hanged Man is well lived, it leads us to the Nameless Arcanum. We are not able yet to give a name to things as we are still in some sort of magma. We need to decide what needs to be removed from our life. Our skin doesn’t appear, only our skeleton to be closer to our inner structure. We let go what is unnecessary. It is a more subtle transformation than the one of the Emperor)
XIV.Temperance
I harmonize with softness, I communicate with flexibility and give a karmic healing.(It is time for us to add fluidity in our life. It is as if we connect ourselves to our guardian angel. The Star and Temperance are both Arcana of karmic healing. We put a little water in our wine. There are more shades than black or white in life. Being patient. Saving our own healing energies)
XV.The Devil
I channel all my strengths for my own good and the one of others.(We need to harmonize these two little devils and we are free to do it.)
XVI.The Tower
Like a butterfly getting out of its chrysalis in an unexpected manner I know that my essence is spreading out.(To evolve or learn something. Like a mother who needs to give birth or a chrysalis that needs to get out = It is a surprise, it is unexpected. We don’t decide when we need to give birth)
XVII.The Star
Connected to the source and to my lucky star I know that the more I give the more I receive.(She receives in abundance and gives back to the river of life. It is the courage to be vulnerable. It lives in the present. In this cosmic age many Arcana are nude as we move towards our essence, our meaning in life. It communicates with nature and beauty. It is also the Arcana of the artists)
XVIII.The Moon
I go beyond what could be an illusion to have access to my profoundness, my intuitions and put light to it.(It is the 3rd couple of the Tarot cards: Moon/Sun: cosmic spirit. Empress/Emperor: building couple. Pope/High Priestess: heath couple. The Moon symbolizes the conscious and unconscious. It is the mirror of the sun’s light at its best. The crawfish implies a cleaning of our unconscious)
XIX.The Sun
I shine and heat hearths without burning them.(Happiness with the family and friends. It is a growing positive energy)
XX.Judgment
I celebrate the rebirth of my spirit.(It is the end of our ego’s power. We show ourselves how we are. We vibrate with the universe. It is a rebirth.)
XXI.The World
I reach my inner potential and share it with the world outside.(We need time to concretize what we decided to do. We need to synchronize our thought and its concretization. Ex: Loosing weight. We open up to life. It symbolizes also far away trips.
