The Fool
I. The Magician
II. The High Priestess
III. The Empress
IV. The Emperor
V. The Pope
VI. The Lover
VII. The Chariot
The Fool starts the life adventure with the Magician to take action. They will learn with the High Priestess. We have creative ideas with the Empress. The Emperor looks at the Empress and listens to her ideas to see how he will make them concrete. The Pope learns about the meaning and value of the Emperor’s realization. He puts some ethics to it. The Lover takes a little time to make a choice according to his hearth. When we arrive at the Chariot we have all the needed tools to embark upon life and become more mature.
Adult age:
VIII. Justice
VIIII. The Hermit
X. The Wheel of Fortune
XI. Strength
XII. The Hanged Man
XIII. The Nameless Arcanum
XIV. Temperance
The Chariot meets Justice, which represents social and cosmic recognition of Justice. The Hermit will then help to integrate deeply what we have lived till now (ex: wisdom, being responsible for our life and discretion). Now that we have assimilated those concepts we take in our hands the handle of the Wheel of Fortune to learn to experiment life with more consciousness than when we were a child. Our initiatives are more mature than the one of the Magician. Strength holds gently the lion’s mouth opened. We have learnt about our inner strength. The Hanged Man suggests letting go. The more relax we will be, the more time will go by quickly. The Nameless Arcanum explains that we need a major inner transformation. If we place the Nameless Arcanum on top of the Fool we will notice that the Nameless Arcanum is the skeleton of the Fool! The Fool doesn’t have a card number and The Nameless Arcanum a name!
We are living all this to meet Temperance, which is our guardian angel embodied on earth. It is our inner clement master. Now we are adult.
Cosmic age:
XV. The Devil
XVI. The Tower
XVII. The Star
XVIII. The Moon
XIX. The Sun
XX. Judgment
XXI. The World
We meet the Devil, we enter the world of temptations to challenge ourselves by checking that we learnt till now is well consolidated. This leads us to the Tower which learning is not intellectual anymore. She will give us freedom if we accept the challenging situations she puts us in. We will need to open-up and accept ourselves for who we are. The Star recognizes our authenticity and humanity. It is a generous Arcana. The more we give the more we receive. The Moon invites us to remove the confusion between our consciousness and unconsciousness. We need to differentiate what is part of our intuition, dreams and what is part of our real life. The Sun is an Arcana that rebuild ourselves with love, friendship among others. From the Star Arcana till the last one we are experiencing the last cleanings to be done. The Judgment is a celebration card. We celebrate our rebirth. The World ends this adventure by highlighting our inner and external realization.
