I write a book! This gives me a set time where I actually take the time out of my day to sit down and think about what i have achieved, not achieved and learnt. To think about myself in relation to my personal sense of balance and where I am at in my life. It makes me stop and think about how I am really feeling, and makes me much clearer when I go into the session. The coach and i don’t have to do the recapping and re-understanding to such a great degree, because i have already had thinking time earlier in the day about the work i am doing. and often i manage to work out things i dont understand properly just by taking the time. I think this also allows the coach to have an awareness of where I am at, how stressed, present etc I am, and possible gives the coach time to think about a tact to take with me at the next session. It means that the coach does not go into the session cold, there is some attachment to the coming session between the client and the coach.I think it speeds up the process, and i suspect minimizes alot of discussion and explaining on the coaches part because I will have thought more deeply about the learning, and have more specific points that I do not understand that i can bring up in the session. Things fall into place much easier.Sorry a bit garbled!

It brought a tremendous clarity to my goals and determined the focus areas of the coaching.

I think it would be of help for me to focus and reflect on my last session and also what I need to move or really think about the barriers. To kind of using it as a journal is of value I think. Kind of forced to take the time and pause and reflect;.

I and my coach have an order to talk during the session. He can prepare himself. So can I

2 benefits: 1. It helps me to put my mind on a goal prior to our session. 2. I am always more courageous when filling out the form than when I don’t. I notice that I “chicken out” sometimes about speaking on a topic when I’m actually asked in the call.

7. Has your coach ever suggested any form of relaxation for you to use prior to sessions?

I set my space up that i will be talking on the phone to my coach in, comfortable seat, phone close by, always a pot of tea or herb tea, something fresh and cleansing. I make sure i am warm, and i sit down and sometimes re read something my coach has suggested. I try to make it so the session is treaty. I will take some rescue remedy if I am really wound up and try to just settle and think calmly about where i am at.

Just centering myself in a way I feel comfortable and setting my intention for the session

feels good

A a massive difference, I have then already slowed down before the session, and am in the right head space. I have slowed down from finishing my work for the day, and am in my private space mentally, not in my work space (I work in the same room). I often have been racing around trying to get chores done first, but always make sure i am sitting in my seat five minutes before our session, otherwise I would be off the planet ! It gives the session just respect, that it is something very important in my life and is creating big changes in me, makes me acknowledge that i am important.

Remarkable difference. I was more present and aware during the session

I start the session not as rushed and can let go of other distractions or things that are on my mind. It slows me down in a good way.
