As a consequence of all this chain of events, Renuka’s self image, self-esteem and self belief was completely lost. The impact of this was really massive. She was completely shaken and she felt so frustrated that she ended scoring very low in 12th examination. She always wanted to be an architect but with such a pathetic performance, she only could get a college out of Mumbai.
Along with her, the family was also under a big shock after her 12th grade result. Renuka was a brave girl, she pulled her strings together again and she lifted her spirits to come up with top performance again at the graduation level.
As she finished her graduation, she could get a wonderful offer from a very renowned MNC. The process of induction was very attractive for her as the proposed training had technical as well as soft skills as well. She was really excited about the same.
The Journey Began for me as Renuka’s co-traveller
I was introduced to Renuka by one of my dear friends. I was really impressed with her stunning educational background and merit holder that she was. During the first few exchanges I realized that I am face to face with an extremely intelligent person.
While the discussion went ahead, steadily and slowly she told me her story. During that time, I came to know of her background, what was bothering her, what was giving her a feel of depression, what stopped her from establishing rapport with others, what stopped her from opening up with others.
While she was setting her objectives from our sessions, I also realized that she had a very low self-esteem.
Goals set by Renuka
- To know exactly what stopped others to get connected with her.
- To regain her confidence and self esteem.
- To start living aboriginal with enthusiasm and optimism.
