A Coaching Power Tool Created by Victoria Garcia

Everything that happens in our life’s is a constant reminder that transformation into who we want to be, begins by falling in love with who we already are today.
The power tool I work with is Confusion vs clarity, I am fascinating by the capabilities of the human brain to evolve constantly as a better version of itself. Most of these processes happened from the understanding of our mind and the awareness of it.
The start eradicates with the understanding of our thoughts, then our emotions hence our actions. I would start by the definition of these two powerful words.
The meaning confusion: Uncertainty about what is happening, intended or required.
The meaning of clarity: the quality of coherence and intelligibility.
What gets on the way of achieving goals?
What it gets in the way of achieving the goals people set for themselves are the thoughts that built certain limiting or not believes about anything we want to accomplish, change or learn. When we are able to dive into our inner self we are able to explore the clarity that is within every single human being.
How to Find Clarity in the Midst of Confusion:
You know that the state of confusion where you feel really unsure about what to do. As confused and unsure as you may feel in those moments, you’re not, every person has more clarity than what they think they have.
Clarity is what you are. It’s what you’re born with, it’s your true nature, and it’s what is always there underneath the mess of confusing thought that sometimes dances on the surface.
The feeling call confusion is a big to-do that’s created in the mind when having all kinds of conflicting thoughts (for example, do it, don’t do it) and you seriously entertain each of those as if they are helpful or important.
Another example is I’m confused about my direction in life. I don’t know where to start, or what my passion is. A mind is a beautiful tool for exploration and communication. But when you try to use it to make decisions, we end up confused.
In order to discover our true nature, life happens.
Within this process we can work with introspective processes that allow us to create awareness and discover who we are today. It’s natural to feel confused from time to time. Confusion precedes insight and clarity.
Steps that helps this transitions & Perspectives to use:
- Clarity is always there, but you don’t always see it
We are blocked by all sorts of thoughts, and the concerns might arise from things that have not arrived yet. So the power that we have to stop these thoughts and bring us back to the present moment is what we can learn through repetition and reflecting on how are brain is functioning.
2. Thoughts are sort of like clouds. They roll in and cover up the clear blue sky and bright, shiny sun. Then they roll out. Thought does the same thing. It rolls in and covers up your clarity, and then it rolls out.
The thoughts are in constant flow, then come and go. Once we are aware of them we are able to replace them for what we need and want to focus on.
- New thoughts constantly pop out
We are having hundreds of thoughts daily, the process to focus on is to sometimes simply observe them. They come fast and leave the same way unless we feed them more with more thoughts around it. The awareness we bring to this daily will allow us to observe those that come and go and do not serve us.
- Previous good decision making
Thinking on the moments where we have made decisions and they were good. We might have taken out time to take action, but we did it.
- Ideas for decisions will be closer or further to what it feels right to you
Within every single human being relays all the answers to our life challenges, struggles etc. When we are able to see the blue sky again we are able to see them. They have always been there.
- What is a wrong choice: calling a choice “wrong” is your opinion. Opinions aren’t the truth, they are opinions. Opinions change, too.
We create our own definition of wrong, and most of the times this has been stablished by our life experiences, society and others.
- You always have a chance to change and to choose again.
Once we were able to jump in to the pool, we are surprise of everything that we have within ourselves in order to swim as far as we always wanted. The first step is the scariest yet the most gratifying one.
