So, How To Enjoy The Path?
It is really a matter of choice! It is really up to you the way you look at things and the choices that
you make according to that.
Choose a path which is aligned with your values and strengths
If your goal and, consequently, your path is aligned with your values and strengths it will feel like it was made for you (and in truth, it was – you made it for you!). If it is not, you’ll feel like you have to struggle to keep on going and this will take you much energy. On the contrary, if you are aligned with your deepest self, while you walk into your path, it will energize you, even when you are working hard and feeling tired.
Choose to enjoy the path
You can choose to enjoy what you are doing and to bring focus into the positive aspects of it. This is possible because it depends mainly in your inner state rather than in the task that you are performing. It is not so much what you are doing that matters but how mindfully and gratefully you experience it. If you choose to bring your focus into what you are doing, into the present (rather than thinking in what you have to do next or in what you did yesterday), the task that you are doing becomes pleasant and you feel at peace. In some situations, it all depends in your ability to develop acceptance and gratitude. In matter of fact, one is related to the other, since as you practice gratitude, it becomes easier to accept things effortlessly. It’s the way you see things that makes your own reality. The important part of this is that you can change the way you look at things whenever you want.

Choose to stop doing what you cannot enjoy
If you cannot enjoy doing something even when you do try to accept it or shift your perspective over it, it is because you already hate it. This means that the present action is not aligned with your values and strengths or that you performed it many times without being present. So, your mind starts developing a feeling of increased dislike until hate comes in and you can no longer be detached from the memories of that feeling – So, just give it a break!
Is it really important to you to continue doing that task? Is there any other way that you can still achieve your goal and not performing that task? Is there anyone to whom you could delegate that actually would enjoy doing it? If the only solution that you can find is to stop doing it or to struggle, than you are in a need to really look into what matters for you in life and, again, it is your choice: Is your inner peace more important? And what about your health? The feelings of joy and happiness themselves make your life meaningful? Sometimes, when we become aware of our own path, we can see that we have passed most of our lives struggling so we can achieve results and build a more meaningful life somewhere in the future. It’s our chase for happiness (the ultimate goal for many of us) and when we less except it, if we are brave enough to stop for a while, we can find it here, in the present moment.
So, How To Stop Struggling?
One of the main situations in which we feel in struggle is when things don’t seem to flow. In this case, ask yourself why you think this is happening. Intuition helps a lot in answering this kind of questions. Don’t ask your ego, ask your true self what is happening – maybe this is just not the right time and you have to wait a little more; or possibly what you are wanting is not aligned with your truth self; or perhaps you can find some fear that is preventing things to flow – if you stop struggling for a while that feeling of “wanting at all cost” will decrease and you become more opened to understand what is really happening within you and what is there for you to learn.
Stop struggling means surrendering, trusting the process. It means that you understand that you are a part of everything and you just have to go with the flow. Going against the flow is like going against our inner selves. It takes a lot of energy and produce very little results. It is like wanting to achieve some goal when you are not aligned with it. Everything that happens outside you has to happen inside you first.
