Nonlinear Coaching© – Paradigm Shift in Life Coaching
How is coaching men different from coaching women? Most of the men brains works more linearly, dedicated to one goal, one task at the given time frame in a sequence. Most of the women brain works non-linearly working with many goals, many tasks or purposes at the given time frame. We are not talking here about multitasking. Most of the people wrongly understand what multitasking is. Nonlinearity might appear for an external observer as multitasking. Some people tend to believe they are able to drive, talk, and drink a beverage at same time and that what multitasking is. Car accidents statistics proves it wrong. What we consider multitasking is in fact being able to divide our attention to multiple things at same time. And are we? The challenge is, at the end, none of the thing gets our full quality of conscious attention and is poorly accomplished, resulting mostly in persons stress and no satisfaction.
Nonlinear thinking and functioning typical for most women is something else than multitasking of the brain. Nonlinear thinking would be defined as human thought characterized by expansion in multiple directions, rather than in one direction, and based on the concept that there are multiple starting points from which one can apply logic to a problem. Non-linear thinking is less constrictive – letting the creative side of a person run rampant because of its inherent lack of structure. It’s kind of like letting a kid play on a playground – anything of interest will be thoroughly investigated, tested, maybe chewed and tasted, before running to the next, possibly non-related object or a subject! A kid dedicates its full attention to what it is doing in a moment. Women shopping in a store is another most representational externally expressed and observed example of nonlinear thinking. It’s very much like brainstorming – allowing thought to flow, unhindered, in attempts to arrive upon something special in the process.
Non-linear thought increases possible outcomes by not being so certain about the starting point for any logic process. Non-linear thinkers tend to jump forward, and from side to side through the steps of a project, in an effort to see the big picture and tackle those areas where they have the most interest. It is also a sign of greater intelligence. Where non-linear thinking falters is in finally carrying out the required action, because as a thought process it often encourages a user to agonize incessantly over where to start (that agreed upon truth, from which logic can be applied and action can be taken). Digital presentation created by team at Prezi.com is an amazing example of non-linear and linear thinking in action. In the presentation program, rather than a Microsoft linear slide show, it’s ultimately a picture, into which you can zoom in and out, infinitely. Now think of what is Bill Gates with his limited linear way of thinking able to do with all his billions? Prezi it allows you to start or end at any point, and to present a product, concept, or argument in a logically by moving from location to location what is essentially group of images, but at any point you can zoom out and suddenly, “See the big picture” takes on a whole new meaning.
Any mind is able to do that, for some reason man minds have been trained and conditioned more linearly. Unfortunately this is also considered as less advanced. The good news is that anyone can at will adopt different nonlinear way of thinking, step by step. More neuronal connections we make by systematic nonlinear thinking and acting more we are able to integrate, use and implement this system in our life. We are not saying nonlinear thinking is bad, we are saying it has limitations. A combination of both is the wind into your wings of life success, where one can truly achieve PAL.
First step is to identify your way of thinking. If the way we think is too linear, then we have to do first something about that. Then we can start better serving ourselves in achieving PAL.
PAL Coaching addresses nonlinear and quantum phenomenon and use it to the benefit of the coaching clients. Men or women, we are what we are, part of us we inherited through DNA, the other part is in our own power to shape, develop and evolve as a whole being the way we want to be.
It is vital to express, if the brain is the instrument for intelligence and the mind is what the brain does then the Consciousness is at work to improve the brain. The Consciousness that is not the body, not the brain and not the mind. PAL is at same time allowing and surrendering to the potential of the higher self, that give us life, heal us, love us and embrace any part of us.
We have developed and are continuously developing PAL coaching in order to assist people even better on their way to PAL – Purposeful Authentic Life.
