A Coaching Model By Ritu Mehrotra, Nutrition Coach, UNITED STATES
The options for healthy living and empowered holistic self-care are rising all over the world. Wherever you go, if you look around, you’ll find that self-care is the new healthcare.
More and more people are looking to support their health to prevent sickness or disease before it strikes. This is a great time to think outside of the box – and expand your offerings of wellness to the community in new ways. More than ever, people are open and willing to learn methods of feeling better and staying healthy.
Suppose we want to bring wellness, peace, prosperity, and healing naturally around us. In that case, we need to support ourselves and our communities to become appealing, strong, resilient, and empowered with natural health wisdom and knowledge.
My health coaching model is based on the Lifestyle-Wellness Coaching Model, which focuses on the five dimensions of well-being by building trust, communicating effectively, and facilitating learning and results. I help close the gap between where you are and where you want to be. Asking sincere questions, expressing compassion, and being a steady source of support, help guide the clients to achieve their goals.
What makes for a successful Holistic nutrition coach? It’s not just what you know; it’s what we as Nutritionist coaches do—human connection. Health and Nutrition coaches don’t limit conversation. They speak to clients in a way that nurtures the real human relationship. Coaches practice the art of human connection. Coaches aren’t just better at customizing workout and nutrition plans. They’re better with people.
Inspiration coaches have a way of inspiring their clients—in every single session—to want the hard work. They know how to unlock their clients’ deeper motivation, a sense of purpose, and inner fire.
Women Holistic Nutrition Coaching Listening is the key
As a holistic health coach, it’s like partially playing the role of a detective. Active listening is the key to uncovering the clients’ problems and devising the right program to solve them.
Mindfulness
There are so many amazing, successful women out there that struggle with putting themselves first, creating daily habits that give them mental energy, or knowing how or when they need to make time for powerful self-care. Autoimmune Disease, chronic illness, and chronic health conditions do not need to be EVERYTHING. They do not need to become their disease and lose themselves in the process. Where they are right now in life does not define where they’ll be in the future. They have the power to progress and grow. Health coaching will give them that power.
Empower clients to achieve optimal health, for the present and the future, through addressing any imbalances caused by improper nutrition, lifestyle stressors, poor quality sleep, insufficient water, lack of exercise, and relaxation.
Accountability
As a coach, I will encourage my clients to be committed to their action plans and keep them accountable. In any case, the coach should be supportive and non-judgmental regardless of the client’s lifestyle.
Sometimes, as a coach, I will be working through emotional blockages or difficult situations, and I will have the tools to guide my client’s through this in a safe and positive environment.
How We Measure Success:
- Demonstrated behavior changes
- Achievement of goals
- Biometric shifts
Having experienced some significant challenges, I appreciate and value the importance of being resilient. In an increasingly demanding and complex world, a lack of resilience can lead people to become more vulnerable to stress and affect their mental and physical health. As a coach, I help women explore and understand the real underlying causes of their anxiety that undermine resilience and let them learn how to manage it effectively.
