Backdrop that led to select the name of my Coaching Model
After completing my post graduation in Human Resources and having worked in the industry for 11 years, I have been into free lance Consulting and Training in the Corporate space during the last 2 decades. My Organization’s name is CORE MIND. It is an acronym. CORE stands for Corporate Renaissance of Employees and MIND denotes for Maximization of Individual’s Needs and Desires. Scanning back at the work, assimilation of powerful learning, emotive experiences and enlightening acquired, thanks to my Corporate Clients and Participants, to whom I’m life time grateful, the name CORE MIND has built a niche brand of its own and I’m immensely proud of the same. This name, being part of my sub conscious and levitating part of my life and also synonymous with my identity in the context with whom I partner for progress and Coaching being a natural progression as part of my growth curve, my loving choice CORE MIND. I dedicate this model to those who nurtured my growth and also to energize the potential human beings whose paths I’d cross in my life’s continuum that lie ahead of me.
The Eight phases for the Coaching parlance and connotation. The acronym would be expanded thus:
- C – Contract
- O – Objectives
- R – Rapport
- E – Empathy and Engage
- M – Mindfulness
- I – Inspire Passion
- N – Nurture and Navigate
- D – Dreams, Deeds and Destiny
There are three constants in life… Change, Choice and Principles. Every human has four endowments – self awareness, conscience, imagination and independent will. These give us the ultimate human freedom … the power to chose, to respond and to change Stephen R Covey
I fully resonate with the meaningful quotes of Nelson Mandela, Ralph Waldo Emerson, Stephen Covey & Mahatma Gandhi. In many ways, going by my experiences and convictions gained in the personal and professional zones. The essence of how Coaching can be beneficial to Clients is captured in these quotes. Their lives were as magnum opus, to have influenced (with no real authority), millions of human beings across continents, races and religions.
