No problem can be solved from the same level of consciousness that created it. Albert Einstein
It is said that perspective is everything. The power of choice we all possess, to look at things differently, can either enable us to learn from our failures, hence grow; or justify ourselves to live in denial. In both ways, our conscious self is more aware and begins to change subconsciously.
In today’s world, we are heading to more automation and less human intervention. Gradually, Artificial Intelligence might take over Emotional Intelligence. We are making machines behave like humans. We fail, and we try again. But how would it look if we could RESET ourselves first? Reset our level of consciousness, perceptions, and worthiness.
RESET model emphasizes the growth mindset, not only in problem-solving but also to learn the power of choice and explore the new paths that elevate our awareness.
Similar to a machine, when the reset button is hit, it takes us back to the old version of ourselves. This is the time when we can introspect our learning, thoughts, and what we truly want to choose. It allows us to take on the challenges with more wisdom that lies within.
To RESET Means:
Recognize:
- Intention/Purpose
Recognizing the goal and what is the purpose of wanting to achieve it. We question the true intention behind it – our benefits and our potential losses.
- Beliefs & Values
Understanding what values we hold are coming forth. Does the goal stand true to what we believe in and what is the birthplace of these beliefs?
Energy:
- Emotions
What is going on when we ‘recognize’ our goal? The emotional impact we have – is it empowering us to take on our plan? Or is it disempowering, and telling us that something is not the way it needs to be?
- What might we emote when we achieve this goal? Is it the success of the goal that we are looking for, or is it the impact it might have on us?
Simplify:
- Goal/Destination
Exploring the true impact we need, how are we choosing the realistic aspect of the achievement. What is the real goal here?
- Structures/Path
Allowing ourselves to explore new paths, both risky & certain, to be where we want to be. The real destination.
Evolve:
- Learn
The learning we have carried forward from our experience and knowledge. The awareness we have arrived at and reflecting on our emotions and the will to work on them.
- Transform
The way our thought process changes and how differently we perceive the situation. Uplift ourselves and have better self-management.
Take Charge:
- Acceptance
Accepting our true ‘self’. The will to take charge of whatever the consequence may be. Learn and aspire to grow.
- Trust
Trust our intentions. Trust the path. Trust our learning. Trust the change. Trust in RESET.
