action
Action is eloquence William Shakespeare
Action is the phase to give shape & form to what perspectives have been explored and possibilities have been identified. The underlying thought of this phase is the essential truth that ‘coaching is all about learning & action’. The phases before focus on the ‘being’ aspect of the client’s life, whereas Action brings the focus on ‘doing’ aspect, and both these aspects have their value. As Shakti Gawain says,
being and doing support each other … they exist simultaneously.
During Action phase, the coach’s job is create a climate & focus whereby client is inherently motivated to work on his insights and put them into action with ownership and accountability towards himself. The coach supports the client by encouraging him to spell out his specific action plan and timelines, and gently follows up to help client sustain his commitment.
crescendo
Crescendo is the final, astonishing work of God … the Master’s finishing touch. John Eldredge
Crescendo is the peak of glory that a client takes himself to having delved deep into the darkness of his situation, illuminated it with his exploration, insight and action, and emerged his own victor. The client’s exploration & endeavor may not have necessarily rendered the desired results, yet the ordeal of climbing gets sweetly redeemed when the climber finds himself on the peak of his best from where, his once held doubts, fears etc. dissolve in the misty brilliance of carving his path & soaring confident.
transformation
We do not need magic to transform our world. We carry all of the power we need inside ourselves already. J. K. Rowling
Transformation is all about the client transcending beyond his known potential & performance to the abundance that he is born with. It is about him choosing to look at his life journey as an upward spiral of growth, and choosing to jump up to the next loop. It is about proactive seeking & creation of the ‘next best’ , rather than waiting for another problem/issue to show up and in the process of dealing with the same, discovering or expanding your potential. There is nothing incidental about the expanded learning that this phase seeks to take the client towards. It is instead an intentional leap of growth that the client chooses to take, aiming the canvas beyond the horizon.

You were born with wings.
You are not meant for crawling, so don’t.
You have wings.
Learn to use them and fly.
