If we become what God created us to be, we will set the world ablaze. Catherine of Sienna
The impetus of the visualization is a quote from Catherine of Sienna
If we become what God created us to be, we will set the world ablaze.
The underlying belief is that each individual is bestowed a purpose. This purpose is fulfilled when one lives in the best version of his or her self. The blue flames radiating from the Earth signify the positive impact one may have when he or she chooses this path.
The coaching process towards client self-actualization is implemented using Clarity, Order, Focus and Achievement (COFA Model). The COFA Model provides the coach with a process to stream-line effective change within the client’s life. The Model can be utilized in both a micro and macro-environmental setting. This flexibility allows the coach to implement its structure within a single session and throughout the coaching process.
Within the Session:
Clarity is created by the coach through obtaining an understanding of the facts and feelings generated for the current issue the client has presented.
Order is produced when the client creates a clear vision of his or her goals and identifies barriers towards achievement.
Focus is fostered through forming an action plan and building a structure for success.
Achievement is attained through support, encouragement and accountability of the client as he or she works toward his or her goal.
Within the Coaching Process:
Clarity is produced throughout the coaching process as the client becomes aware of his or her beliefs, values and behavioral habits crossing the multiple facets of his or her life.
Order is created as the client identifies and resolves conflicting beliefs, value and behavioral habits deterring the success in his or her goals. The client resolves the conflict by choosing adherence to which set(s) of beliefs, values and behavioral habits best serve the client.
Focus is achieved throughout the coaching process as the client utilizes his or her new awareness to build structures and habits to support his or her goals, thus, yielding greater results.
Achievement is obtained once the client lives from a place of clarity, order and focus.
