A labyrinth is a single path or unicursal tool for personal, psychological and spiritual transformation. It’s a metaphor for the journey to the centre of your deepest self and back out into the world with a broadened understanding of who you are, enabling you to move forward confidently and consciously.
Congratulations on deciding that you are ready to create change in your life. And welcome to your coaching journey. As a coach I will be available to accompany you on your path. I offer my time and commitment to facilitating the change you choose to bring to your life. I will be available to explore and understand what you seek and provide insight and strategic thinking as to how to achieve what is right for you. I’ll be a companion, cheerleader, helper and resource person; offering my skills to make your journey as fulfilling and complete as possible. As a coach I know that meaningful journeys often involve tuning into the very depths of oneself, finding what brings joy and resonance to one’s life. Whatever the reason for your decision to start on this journey, it’s your journey, you take the lead, wherever you decide to go I will be with you.
Awareness
Taking time to create awareness early in your journey provides a solid base to start from. Reviewing where you are now, what it is that you value in your life and what you would like to change, will allow you to be clear about the journey you wish to take and how you want to travel it.
Enhancing your self-awareness, by identifying your strengths and creating awareness of your perspective on the world through the Enneagram Personality Typing system will support you to be more accepting of yourself and better equipped and more resilient for your journey.
Acknowledgement
Increased awareness allows you to more acknowledging of yourself and your life. Acknowledging all that you have brought to your journey so far, your gifts, your achievements, your learning’s and the challenges that you’ve overcome.
Appreciation
By taking time to appreciating the richness of your life at this moment; reflecting on the people and activities that you value and identifying what brings joy and meaning to your life, you will help you to tune you in to whatever else you would like to bring to your live.
Keeping in mind that ‘it is better to journey than to arrive’ we will build acknowledgement and appreciation into your journey and will create time to savour the path as you move along it.
Aspiration
With awareness we can identify where you would like to travel to. Sometimes it takes time to do this and experiment and exploration is necessary. Sometimes it’s clear and compelling. When you know what you want I’ll support you in setting goals to move forward to the life you aspire to.
Action
To accomplish goals and achieve change, action is needed! We will ensure that the way to your goals is of small and manageable actions, aiming to move you forward steadily and consistently in the direction you want to go. Sometimes the actions will be quick and surprisingly easy, sometimes considerable effort and energy will be needed to move forward and some actions may even cause you to slow down and stop. Working together we will explore different ways to move you forward in these moments, aiming to free you up to continue on your journey with commitment and confidence.
Achievement
This is what we will be aiming for and this is where our overall focus will be. Moving you forward to achieving the changes you aspire to in your life. Every achievement will be a cause for celebration and learning, empowering future action and further achievement.
Connection to yourself and others
Throughout your journey we will stay aware of your connection to yourself. Staying connected to your essence allows you to connect with your own powerful wisdom to guide and direct you along your journey. Positive connections with important people in your life will also help you to move forward so your connection with others will have a place in your journey.
Balance, Respect and Self-compassion
Staying conscious of the balance in your life, ensuring that you attend to and take care of yourself whatever the journey brings along will underpin everything that we do. Respecting, valuing and having compassion for yourself will be fundamental to your way forward and to achieving the life that you choose.
