A Coaching Model Created by Josephine Sophie

The process of coaching is about going with the flow fuelled by the art and skill of transformative questioning. It is perhaps not very different to the principle of Tao that reconciles sociability with individuality, order with spontaneity and unity with diversity. It takes the coachee into territories never before explored to arrive at his own solutions. However most coaching models tend to stop at this. In this model that I have attempted to conceive I have tried to look beyond the coaching process and the journey itself and taken the environment into account to ensure that a more holistic approach is taken with greater probability of success for the coachee.
The holistic acronym that I have used is the 4S model:
- Sense of Self
- Sense of Other
- Synergy
- Sustainability
Why Coaching?
When a person finds himself in the container of coaching and in the presence of a coach, he comes with the hope of achieving an outcome. This outcome could be as simple as having clarity as he might not be able to see the woods for the trees or he cannot see the larger scheme of things and misses out the details;
