Use these Questions to Think about Your Coaching Model
- Which Coaching framework, theory, or model appeals to you the most?
Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP)
Because successful people have the knowledge and experience of what to succeed. Through visualization, the client can imagine his success and become a reality in his life.
- If you had to describe your style as a coach in a metaphor what would that be? Try completing these sentences to help you
“When I coach I am feeling like I belong there.
“Coaching is like a journey it is about deep, powerful transformation.”
“My clients come to me looking for what is that blocks them, and I help them find that using active listening, powerful questions so they can create a wonderful life as they would want it.
- What are the top 3 things you think a coaching/client relationship has to have for powerful coaching to take place?
My coaching model is based on the invention of where the client is today and where he would like to go. As a coach, I try to support the client, having the privilege of being present, creating a challenge without a tribute of judgment and pressure. The client will feel comfortable because there is someone who listens to him. (The greatest needs of the human species)
Trying to apply the above skills, the client will find the solutions that serve him for himself and his life. Through exploration, he will see what thoughts, beliefs are those that block him, keep him hostage watching enemies. By digging deeply, there will be fears which we will work to become aware that fear is a productive feeling that serves us only when we use it as a counselor … not as a jailer.
Arriving at the endpoint to create the goals and dreams he would like, to achieve a wonderful life as he wants it.
I am a businessman for about 25 years and I would like also to work on business coaching with blended approach coaching and consulting. Always getting the client’s license for a straightforward approach.
4 Steps Model for Success
1.) You have to know what do you want. (Dreams-Goals) crystal clear.
2.) Fear. The reason why someone is not inaction is the fear of success, or failure, of rejection, or the unknown. Fear is a productive feeling that serves us only when we use it as a counselor … not as a jailer. The most successful people are the ones who fail most of the time in life. You fail in your life seven times in 10. You know why … because that’s life. The only thing that separates the winners from the losers is that simple… the winners do not give up.
3.) Action. Not someday…today. The road to someday leads to nowhere.
4.) Notice if that working. Check out from the action that you get if that working. Flexibility is strength. If the action you take does not come closer to your goals … become flexible. Success in life is the result of the right crisis. The right crisis is usually the result of experience. Experience is usually the result of a bad crisis.
