The “Bloom” Model
A Rose Bloom represents my Process
First you see the bud tightly closed in a tight space. Within the bud all of the potential is there – just waiting for the right conditions to become all that it can be.
As trust and confidence grow the space opens allowing the sunlight to enter so that clarity and awareness can occur.
As the bloom unfolds in the opening space new perspectives begin to appear. These are represented by the many petals, which unfold as the bloom opens. The old petals (perspectives) begin to wither and fall away.
As the space opens so too does the bloom, and as the bloom opens so too does the space, allowing the bloom to reach its full radiance and potential.
The soil beneath the bloom represents the nourishment and support provided by the coaching process. The more deeply rooted you become in the process, the more radiant and rich will be the bloom.
Once the process has begun there is no going back. The process will create and support sustainable change.
Notes on the “Bloom” Model
The bloom model recognizes that clients come to coaching with everything they need to grow already inside.
Creating a very safe trusting space by listening carefully & inviting the client to fully express themselves, knowing they will not be judged, allows for exploring of thoughts & ideas, uncovering underlying beliefs & goals, and bringing new awareness to them. My process is very organic.
Clients are then able to design their own actions to move them forward. Providing unwavering support & acknowledgement helps the client to continue with forward momentum. Drawing from their own deep inner knowing ensures that the change will be continuous and sustainable.
