Dear Client,
Welcome to Coaching!
In the text below, you will find my Coaching Model. I will explain how coaching works, and how our sessions will be structured and organized. I consider that during the time we will be working together, we will be like a TEAM, hand in hand we share the same goal: your success. It means that both of us are committed, we rely on each other. Each of us brings something different to the other. We both have responsibilities. I am glad to be your Coach. I will do my best to help you reach your goals. And you are accountable for the way you engage in this work. Let’s start this journey and find out how our TEAM works!
T for
Trust: as we will be working together for some time, I guarantee that you will be in a safe space where you can share all your thoughts. I am not judging or assuming anything. During our sessions, I am fully dedicated to you. You may be reluctant to talk sometimes. However it is important that you are True in all what you share with me and be yourself so that I can fully help you. Bear in mind that I will keep our conversations confidential.
Together: I am here for you, we work Together on whatever subject you want to bring in.
You can rely on me.
Target: from the beginning of our work together, and also at the beginning of each session, I will ask you to set your Target or your goal. This step might take some time at first as you need to be very clear about what you want, in order to work efficiently during the sessions. Goals can evolve along with our sessions together, you can decide that you want to work on a different subject for several sessions. I am here to follow your needs.
E for
Energize, Enthuse, Empower: some sessions can be heavy because we dig up some uncomfortable feelings or bad memories. By Encouraging you and supporting you I will help you find the Energy within you to continue your journey. Any step or improvement, as little as it may be, deserves to be acknowledged and celebrated.
Elaborate on what you want: by asking powerful questions, I will help you be specific about what you want when your objectives evolve.
Evaluate your present situation: once you know where you want to go, we can explore where you are now. Try to put your current situation on a scale, analyze what is good about it, what you can improve, what you would like to leave behind, why you want to change… At all times I will help you have more clarity, by asking questions or rephrasing what you just said.
A for
Acknowledge who you are, and what you want to improve or change. Analyze the potential obstacles or difficulties you may encounter. These difficulties may be internal, or external. Knowledge makes you stronger. If you know what you have to overcome, you have done part of the work.
Action, Alternatives: I will help you find out how to get there. What will work for you may not be what would work for me. Therefore, through my questioning we will explore all the alternatives you think might be suitable for you.
Associate(s): it is easier to have someone who can support you when you need it. We will talk about who, apart from myself, can be your associate on this journey. Someone you can rely on.
Accountability: you are accountable for what you decide, your associate can hold you accountable for reaching your objective.
Achieve : this is the objective of our sessions. Achieve your goal.
M for
Let´s Move on: Now you have found the way to reach your goal. Let´s get going ! You will have moments of excitement and achievements. Celebrate them. You might also have some moments when you feel down, when your objective seems out of reach. Acknowledge those moments. Call your Associate to ask for his support. You know where you want to go, that´s what matters. Whenever you want to give up, take time to look at what you have already achieved, take a deep breath, and continue. I believe you can do it!
