A Coaching Model Created by Beth Wallace

I have created a model called
The Do Re Mi model….It is based on the musical The Sound of Music.
There are many examples of life coaching in this musical. I would like to identify the coaching features that I feel apply, starting with the coach being Maria. Maria is a postulant nun who is sent to serve as a governess to a family that is lost, disconnected, and sad due to grief.
Maria acknowledges the truth that she sees, partners with the children as they begin to move into action, that action being finding themselves again. She does this by creating a safe environment.
From that point on she partners with them as they find their “voices” .
