SPROUTS, Seed germination is the transformation of a dormant embryo, which has formed from a fertilized ovule, into a new photosynthetically active plant in flowering plants. The protrusion of the radical, the precursor of the root, through the seed coat is a piece of visual evidence that germination is complete; even so, germination begins with water intake by the seed (imbibition) and ends with the commencement of elongation of the embryonic axis inside the seed. Seed germination is the most crucial stage in a plant’s life cycle, as it results from a complex series of cellular and metabolic activities. Seed germination requires a combination of water, air, temperature, and light.

As a coach, I believe that by working together with the client, we can move beyond the self-judgments we make when we don’t achieve a goal, such as “I’m a loser,” “I’m not good enough,” “I didn’t work hard enough,” and “I didn’t work smart enough,” to a place of understanding, empathy, and change from the inside out.

Life coaching, I feel, would be beneficial to the profession of education in addressing these difficulties. Coaching and education benefits help clients navigate the educational landscape by teaching them the tools to move their minds to areas they previously felt out of control and feared.
