As I consider research paper topics, I want to take the opportunity to gain insight into what I’ve observed in myself and many of my fellow coaches and clients. Limiting Beliefs affect everyone and affect our thinking, behavior, actions, and most importantly, our actions. Without having a psychology degree, Unlocking Limiting Beliefs, I found that challenging the use of language and providing the choice to think about the problem from a different perspective is critical to enable clients to effectively reframe their ideas.

Approval vs. Acceptance

Many great leaders showed self-acceptance by challenging established standards and believing in their right to do so. As expectations and powers move and the world changes, seeking external acceptance can lead to worry, anxiety, and guilt. Complementing this work with a strong social support network and a solid inner compass can help build a solid foundation.
