No matter where you roam in the world the road will always lead you to one or more ICA coaches. Perhaps this is not that surprising as ICA is a truly global coach training program with coaches in nearly 80 countries.
But what continues to delight me is the instant community that forms when more than one ICA coach gets together. I’ve been so lucky to experience this deep connection each time I travel and most recently in Assisi and Rome in the true magic kingdom of Italy!
First I met with Rossella Pin, a recent ICA graduate and Founder of the Italian Chapter, EMCC Italia. Rossella’s extended family including her parents, children and husband travelled from their homes near Venice to greet me in Assisi.
Many local ICA coaches could not attend because they were already travelling, working, or busy with children and family but they all wanted to be in Assisi with us and sent their virtual welcome videos!
Thank you so much Claudia Landini, Cristina Morpurgo, Maria Ranilla and Judith Lowe for taking the time to video your warm wishes.
After a spirited and wonderful conversation Saturday night about the coaching industry in Italy we made plans for Sunday lunch.
Rossella and her family invited me and new ICA Coach Liza Liljeberg (who just finished hosting 40 days of adventure tours) to a spectacular lunch at a local agritismo.
We ate, we shared wine and fresh farm foods, and we talked, we laughed and we became YET another ICA ‘family’.
Coaching in Italy
I learned a lot about the state of the coaching industry in Italy while I was there – it is definitely a fast emerging market. According to Rossella, the number of accredited schools has doubled in the last 2 years, and with 60 million people and around 1000 certified coaches you can see why it is a growing profession.
EMCC Conference Italy
As the Founder of EMCC Italy, Rossella is heavily involved in this conference and will welcome more than 150 coaches coming from all the 20 affiliated countries.
You can download the brochure here, and if you happen to be in Italy pop in and say hello to Rossella and all our wonderful coaches in Italy!
