We laughed. We hugged. And we gushed with warmth and wonder as we set eyes on each other, some of us for the first time. ICA coaches enjoyed a fabulous afternoon at the Mill Street Pub in Toronto’s famous Distillery District, a lovely restored Victorian Industrial building.
ICA trainers Rob Stringer, Merci Miglino and Lorna Poole along with Support folks Kelly Smales met several of our graduates and students. We talked of the program, the great profession of coaching and how it’s showing up in our lives.
ICA graduate Kiran Ramnane works for a global consulting firm with offices in more than 60 countries. She shared how the ICA program was so amazing she urged her colleague Courtney Snare to consider training with ICA. They are both seeing great opportunities to bring coaching into their company and are seeing the benefit of using their new skills in their workplace.
Sherri Lojzer, another ICA graduate told us how coaching is a natural follow up to her 15 years in health care and now coaches entrepreneurs based on the core values of compassion, empathy, learning, flexibility and accomplishment. Her story inspired all of us!
Dmitry Kondratyev was thrilled to meet Rob Stringer, one of his favourite trainers and made the effort to connect with us while travelling in Canada. He definitely won the prize for travelling the furthest to join our group coming from Russia via Michigan.
Irene Adams, also a graduate of ICA shared her process of how she is trying to bring coaching into her workplace as well. She currently works in the legal field while at the same time she is in the beginning stages of building her own business. This prompted a great discussion about all of the possibilities of staring a new coaching business and where it could go.
It was wonderful to see Kate Rutkevich connect face-to-face with Lorna Poole! The two of them share a bond as Lorna supported Kate as her Student Ambassador when she enrolled at ICA.
Feeling jealous of all our fun? Well, consider a meet up in your town or while traveling. We can help you make it happen.
