Tina is an ICA Graduate, a Professional Certified Coach (PCC), facilitator, and trainer. She has over 25 years of experience across many sectors and is particularly passionate about supporting family-centered parents to make heart-centered choices for their children, for themselves, and for the planet.
Tina holds both a Bachelor of Science Degree with honors and a Graduate Diploma of Environmental Management. She spent over a decade making a difference in the environmental sustainability field in both Australia and the UK, empowering groups and individuals through facilitation, this culminated in the publication of her work, the first ‘Kent EnvironmentStrategy’ in 2003.
Tina returned to Australia with her husband for the birth of their first child in 2003, which led to a career break of seven years to allow a focus on parenting and family.
Moving with her family to Brazil for her husband’s work in 2011 led to Tina discovering ICA, drawn by her love of facilitation and need for a flexible career shift. Her ICA research project naturally flowed into an investigation of combining facilitation with coaching (the early days of group coaching) https://archive.coachcampus.com/coach/tina-smith/
Alongside her coaching practice, Tina works part-time at the Warwickshire Adult and Community Learning Centre delivering various group coaching programs and teaching life skills to adults with learning difficulties.
Having grown up and worked initially in Australia Tina’s curiosity has led her to explore over 45 countries and live, with her family on three continents. This extensive travel has nurtured her deep respect for diversity of all kinds and a belief that it is through facing challenges and continued self-inquiry that we truly grow.
